Stopped catalyst removal process immediately and clean up the impacted area. Revise catalyst loading and unloading procedure to require gauging of hoppers with a temperature gun or heat scan to allow the level to be tracked with less frequent manual gauging. Set up a log to make sure procedure is followed.

Coker Wet Gas compressor tripped on low lube oil pressure when the main lube oil pump turbine tripped. This cause Coker off gas to relieve to the flare. Sulfur dioxide was released from the refinery flares and rapidly dispersed. The cause of this incident is under investigation.
Emissions were minimized by immediately restarting the Wet Gas Compressor.
