Cause: Continued leaking of flammable volatile organic compounds from crack in weld on D902 drum. Same issue as incident #122930. Continuation of incident caused reportable quantities [RQ] to be exceeded.

Followup: No

Notes: Drum isolated and depressurized, and the section of the pipe was modified to prevent occurrence. Sector pipe removed and modified to prevent recurrence. 2,500 pounds of flammable VOCs release which exceeds RQ. Initial estimates indicate that 2400 pounds of flammable vapors were released, but a later report ensures that only 416 pounds were released. This release for flammable vapors is BRQ. Incident #122930 refers to flammable vapor, incident #122931 refers to flammable VOCs. Including release of flammable VOCs, not flammable vapors, in database. LABB only has access to the LDEQ incident report.
