Cause: On November 7, 2014, LDEQ received an anonymous complaint alleging a sheen of oil being located on the Calcasieu River, sheen was noticed on November 6, 2014. LDEQ contacted Coast Guard on Nov. 7 who investigated site, stated that the sheen was green dye from Citgo's Hydrostatic Discharge. No further action by DEQ at this time.
