During routine rounds, a leak was discovered on a tank suction line due to external corrosion.
This release was caused by unbalanced gasket stress as a result of thermal cycles. The affected piping will be replaced to prevent this leak in the future.
Upon discovery the spill source was isolated and the affected pipe was removed from service. A vacuum truck was used for soil remediation. The affected piping will be replaced.
