Propylene leak from a flange at the discharge end of compressor. Planned to put a clamp to stop the leak and monitor air quality. Exxon's report was received on 6/21/10 at CRO. Fugitive emission leak was deteced at the propylene refrigeration system during LDAR round. Attempts to fix the check valve flange resulted in the bolts being stripped and more release occurred. Effort to clamp the flange stopped the release. Exceeded RQ for propylene (an HRVOC). Report says this will be addressed during the next inspection.
