The incident occurred due to the impaired capability of the South Flare Gas Recovery System. The impairment in the gas recovery system was caused by high inlet temperature resulting from high blowdown system temperature.
Facility took immediate corrective action to make the necessary adjustments and return the SFGR system to normal operation. The letter states that no reportable quantities were exceeded and the notification was made as a courtesy only.
