Tank T-1803 spent sulfuric acid overflowed into the containment wall area. An employee experienced an injury. Is expected to fully recover. Initial reports stated that train crews from UP Rail were at the facility at the time of the accident. UP Rail personnel were put in lockdown and prevented from leaving the facility.
Incident command was on scene. Free liquids were collected. Residual material was cleaned using neutralization with soda ash. An investigation is ongoing.
