During start up, personnel was putting air through the sulfur recovery unit when the sulfur on the reactor bed lit off causing emissions. The small fire inside the unit was caused due to induction of air through the train.
Nitrogen was utilized to remove fire from the reaction bed. Notification letter on 2/17/14 with same state police number references an accident on 2/10/2014. No information about that accident.
