Approximately 15 pounds of benzene was released due to an overpressured seal (BD-106) following a power flip at Louisiana Station.
Initial report dated 3/2/2011 reported of a release of approximately 15 pounds of benzene. Subsequently, written notification dated 3/3/2011 claims no reportable quantities were exceed. No material was released from blow down drum BD-106, as the drum maintained positive seal pressure throughout the event.
