ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery wrote a notification to the LDEQ of the events and circumstances surrounding the sample results indication there was a release to a cooling tower at the facility on June 16, 2011. After further evaluation, ExxonMobil determined that no reportable quantities were exceeded. The results were erroneously high, and there was no release to the cooling tower.
