Accident Classified As: Reportable Quantity
During shutdown of ARU-1 Train 2 for maintenance activities, refinery experienced an increase in H2S entering waste gas system. Mixed with refinery fuel gas and low steam ratio resulted in H2S concentration exceedance. Letter states that this was an apparent exceedance of H2s emission standard in Permit No 2560-00001-V8.
