Cause of Problem: Corrosion

LDEQ states that a leak was observed in the Fractionator Overhead Fin Fan at the Cat Feed Hydrotreater, releasing compressed flammable gas and hydrogen sulfide.

Refinery letter states that corrosion mechanism not previously experienced for this equipment, and equipment is within normal service life.
