Incident due to a process upset at Shell Chemical's GO-1 Process Unit caused by an unexpected shutdown of a process gas compressor.

Process gases were flared at the West Operations Ground Flare until the compressor was restarted and Shell Chemical's GO-1 Process Unit was back under control.
