cracked tubing caused an instrument to malfunction and caused WGC to trip
The cracked copper tubing was replaced with stainless steel tubing in order to improve durability. The refinery will evaluate installations on the Low Pressure Waste Gas system where copper tubing is utilized for instrument connections and make upgradesto that tubing, if deemed appropriate, during the next unit turnaround.
